What to do next?
This is a hard question for so many at the moment. It seems like the world is a different place than it was a year ago. In some ways this is very true.
Covid-19 has changed the way we live our lives.
It is no point living in denial of this fact. So what point then am I trying to make?
My point is that we cannot and should not live in fear.
Scripture tells us:
For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice,
but rather a spirit of power and of love and
– 2 Tim 1:7
There have always been dangers in this world. That does not mean we shouldn’t be wise and follow sound wisdom and advice. But it should give us perspective that each day has enough to worry about.
“So do not worry about tomorrow,

– Matt 6:34
So what do we do?
We trust, adjust and follow Jesus.
What else is there to do? We still have opportunities in front of us to serve and love others. We have the chance to grow in our faith in new and wonderful ways. The church has opportunity like never before to spread the message of Jesus Christ to a world that is crying out for answers.
That’s not to say it will be easy, but in regards to what we do next? We continue in what we know is right. We still dream, hope and plan for the future. We encourage one another and faithfully worship our Lord.
Knowing that we can only control what we can control.
For the rest… trust, adjust and follow Jesus.
