Your life, your story, your example and your ministry matter to us and they matter to God
God calls each one of us to serve one another, but does not specify an age limit. At Anglican Church Robina we passionately believe that a person’s value in the Kingdom of God is not measured by their age or position in the community. We have a number of groups particularly catering for our senior generations.
Unlike many church guild groups, the focus is on friendship, fellowship and fun rather than fundraising. The Guild is open for both women and men and meets monthly on a Monday for lunch and a meeting, which includes a speaker or a practical demonstration. There are also many other Guild activities throughout the year.
A group of crafty ladies meet every Monday in our church foyer to exercise their gifts and talents, as well as share in a delicious morning tea.
Those women who find themselves single in the mature years of their life have formed a group that meets monthly for dinner. The members also support and care for each other.
Our church has a great relationship with All Saints Anglican School. As part of the relationship, a number of senior members of our church have become Pen Pals with the Year 5 and 6 students. This is an incredibly rewarding experience for both the junior and senior Pen Pals.
