Baptism, Weddings & Funerals

Baptism

Jesus was baptised and he commanded that all believers do the same. If you or a member of your family has not been baptised, we would be happy to talk to you about the process – which is very straight forward. Baptism services are performed on some Saturdays at 11:30am or can be included in our regular 7:30am or 9:30am Sunday services. The Anglican Church believes that baptism is a gift of our Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism with water signifies the cleansing from sin that Jesus’ death makes possible and the new life that God gives us through the Holy Spirit. In baptism, the promises of God are visibly signed and sealed for us. We are joined to Christ and made members of his body, the Church universal.
