Children & Families

About Children & Families

Here at Anglican Church Robina we have a range of ways families and children can be involved. We believe that Church is a family made up of individuals and individual families and that each person and each family is different and has different needs. We aim to provide a wide range of services for families, including Kids’ Church (Sunday School) for a wide range of age groups, an early intervention service to give families that extra help, playgroups, holiday programs and other opportunities for families to be involved in a thriving community.

Sunday Kids’ Church

We have four streams of ministry with children and teenagers on a Sunday at 9:30am from Creche through to Year 9. On a normal Sunday, the children leave the church auditorium after a song or two and then go off to their targeted programs. They return in time for communion. We occasionally like to mix things up, but there will always be something for children to engage with every Sunday of the year at our 9:30am service.

For more information about Kids’ Church, contact our Church office (07) 5618 8238 or email us!

Children and Families Activities

Periodic Families Activities

Every term we aim to do something fun with our families straight after Church. Whether it be a pirates morning tea or a Teddy Bears Picnic, we have a lot of fun and provide places for kids and families to connect. Keep an eye on our upcoming events or contact the church office for more information.

Playgroups

We currently run 1 morning playgroups – on Friday as part of our Trinity Family Support Network ministry. Places in these groups are in high demand. These are amazing times of connection for parents, carers and children.

Christmas & Easter

We have special interactive services for Children on Christmas Eve and Good Friday. These services are always packed to the rafters with excited and involved children and their families, as well as many others who just love the energy, atmosphere and presence of God in these services.

Protection of Children (Policy and Procedures)

We as a church believe in safeguarding and protecting our children and our policy and procedures for this can be found here.

Seniors

Our Senior Ministry

Your life, your story, your example and your ministry matter to us and they matter to God. God calls each one of us to serve one another, but does not specify an age limit. At the Anglican Church Robina we passionately believe that a person’s value in the Kingdom of God is not measured by their age or position in the community. We have a number of groups particularly catering for our senior generations. Checkout our small groups section for more information.

Youth

About Youth

Our Youth group meets every Thursday evening of the school term from 5:30pm-7pm. It is designed to be a fun and God focussed environment with the goal to see young people engage with faith. Contact the Church office for more information or email youth@robinaanglican.com.

Youth Opportunities

Holiday Social Events

These are fun activities for our young people to connect during their school break.
Keep an eye on our upcoming events or contact the church office for more information.

Leadership

We have a number of pathways to leadership within our church which seek to meet each young person where they are and challenge them to grow in faith and maturity. We’re passionate about helping our young people to discern and develop their gifts and talents. Just ask us if you want to know more!

Small Groups

Small Groups

Our vision is for everyone to be connected to a Small Group to help them grow. While Sunday worship is important for developing our faith and deepening our relationship with each other, we encourage all our members to continue growing in their relationship with Jesus and with each other on the other six days of the week. Our vision is for every member of our church to be connected to at least one of our groups, outside of Sunday worship.

Bible Studies and Connect Groups

We have a number of Bible studies and Connect Groups that meet throughout the week. Groups meet on the church site and in the homes of church members. Some of our groups are specifically targeted at a particular demographic or special interest group. You’re sure to find a group that will suit you and your needs.
